DB Inspect for Oracle is a one-time problem detection service consisting of over 140 tests in the areas of data integrity, resource usage, performance, configuration, and security. These tests are performed directly against your database and the most recent two weeks of alert logs.

We provide you with an HTML report containing information on all problems found. This report includes background information on each problem and suggestions on how to resolve the issue.

DB Inspect is performed on your database over the Internet or a dial-up line. We require only minimal privileges to perform this service and do not need access to your application data. Typical turnaround for this service is one to two days after we have obtained access to your database. This service is provided at a fixed price per database instance.
